The men in our lives need some self-care moments just like we do, especially with all that we’ve been going through in 2020. So, as you think about that last-minute Father’s Day gift, here are eight Black-owned brands you can shop to elevate his grooming experience.

CEYLON

Founded by Patrick Boateng II and Blake Rascoe, this is the first dermatologically-focused skincare brand developed to improve skin issues by men of color. Ceylon’s skincare system consists of three products: a detoxifying cleanser, a hydrating toner, and a clarifying moisturizer.

H.I.M.ISTRY

H.I.M.istry was created by licensed skincare therapist, Darnell Henderson, to address every skincare and grooming problem black men face. Originating in a high-end men’s spa, the line addresses issues from razor and electric shaving irritation to treating acne and hyperpigmentation issues.

Co-founded by Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown, this skincare brand is focused on empowering bald and balding men to live their best lives. Mantl’s products include a cleansermoisturizerbroad-spectrum sunscreen, and oil-absorbing sheets.

Founded by Jacob Quetant in 2014, this brand was born because the founder couldn’t find any all-natural products that would help him better groom his beard. The collection currently includes a beard oil, a beard balm, a beard conditioner, an herbal lip balm, and a beard comb.

This New-Jersey based grooming brand started after founder, Calvin Quallis, noticed his clientele’s need for products that catered to their hair type. The brand initially only sold products for the beard but has grown into a collection of haircareskincare, and beard grooming products.
